Catholicism Worships The “Virgin” Mary, Not Jesus!

 

The Blessed “Virgin” Mary

 

Exodus 20:3-5 says, “Thou shalt have no other God’s before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them nor serve them; For I, the Lord thy God, am a jealous God,

visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto The third and fourth generation of them that hurt me.”

 

Leviticus 26:1 further says, “Ye shall make no idols nor graven image, nor rear you up any standing image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it; for I am the Lord your God.”

 

And in Deuteronomy 4:16, “Lest ye corrupt yourselves and make ye a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female.”

 

So what does the Catholic church do? They make graven images or statues of the blessed “virgin” Mary and many Saints. They place them in Catholic Churches, on the grounds outside the church, in the yards of their homes, on the fireplace mantle, and even on the dashboards of their automobiles! And they bow down before these statues! It’s like someone in the Catholic Church read through the scriptures and then decided to do the exact opposite of what God told them to do!

 

The majority of the things that the Catholic Church does are in direct violation of the Bible! They are commandments of men, rather than commandments of God! This also includes crosses, crucifixes, and rosaries.

 

The Catholic Church calls Mary, the “mother of God” and the “Queen of Heaven.” They pray through and to Mary, hoping and believing that their prayers will go to God. But what does the Bible tells us about this practice?

Jesus said, in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by Me.” And 1 Timothy 2:5 says, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

 

Nowhere in the bible do we find that we are to pray to or through Mary in order to get God to hear our prayers. So why does the Catholic Church practice such foolishness? Because they want to do it their way, instead of God’s way! If anyone who claims to be a Catholic would read the Bible for themselves, they would see how wrong and

unscriptural these practices are!

 

Why, for centuries, has the Catholic Church insisted on calling Mary, mother of Jesus, a virgin? Jesus was born of a virgin, but Jesus had brothers and a sister! This fact is documented in Matthew 13:55, Mark 3:31, John 2:12, John 7:3, John 7:5, 1 Corinthians 9:5, Galatians 1:19, and Matthew 12:46!

 

Matthew 1:24-25 tells us that Joseph “knew” Mary (in the Biblical sexual sense) after the birth of Christ. So how can a church teach the perpetual virginity of Mary? Such teaching is in direct opposition to the scripture.

 

They also teach that Mary was raised from the dead, like Christ (the Doctrine of Miraculous Ascension). This is a complete falsehood, and a basis for teaching it cannot be found anywhere in scripture! It is an out and out lie, yet millions believe it! This is an example of the apostasy of (falling away from) the word of God and the beliefs and

practices of the First Century church and what God and His Son meant it to be.

 

The Bible tells us that Jesus will not return until certain things happen. One of these things is a ‘falling away’ from the sound teachings and doctrines. This ‘falling away’ has been happening in the Catholic church for centuries.

 

2 Thessalonians 2:3 tells us, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.” If any religious denomination is teaching anything other than the Word of God, isn’t it a ‘falling away’? It certainly is!
